Childcare in Chatel

Chatel is a wonderful family friendly ski resort in the French Alps ideal for children to start their alpine adventures.

Did you know children as young as two years old can start enjoying the thrill of skiing.  Little plastic skis can be strapped to their snow boots so they can slide down gentle slopes.  However younger children do not have the stamina or attention span to ski for long periods so you may need some help looking after the little ones while you grab a few well deserved hours on the pistes.

Even though the mountains offer a natural playground at  Nine & Tenne we are very family friendly and have lots of games, toys, sledges and kids movies to help keep kids entertained.   The extra facilities such as hot tub or swimming pool are also a big hit for children’s apres ski.

To help with childcare we work with several local nanny companies who can provide experienced qualified nannies to look after your children.  They are very flexible and can offer indoor activities or outdoor adventures in the snow.  The cost is about €20 per hour depending on the number of children.

Chatel also has a modern creche facility which offer half and full day childcare options.

The cost is:

9am – 1pm = €30

9am – 5pm = €52

Family ski holidays create magical memories – watching your children whizz down the slopes, building a snowman or enjoying a hot chocolate in a mountain restaurant.  But we also know that this is only possible if your children are safe and well cared for at all times.   As such we offer a pre-holiday concierge service to ensure your ski lessons are booked with the best instructors and childcare is arranged to suit your needs individual.
