Following two large snowfalls last week and another 10cm today, the snow conditions are excellent on all the slopes of Châtel. The off-piste skiing is variable, and was quite heavily tracked over the weekend, however there are still plenty of fresh lines if you are willing to walk.
The snow depth on upper slopes is 150cm
The snow depth on lower slopes is 65cm
All lifts and runs in Châtel are open
The weather in Châtel this week is a bit colder than it has been, and there’s quite a lot of cloud cover expected. Wednesday looks to be the clearest day with 85% sun expected.
Overall it’s a great week to be skiing in Châtel; the slopes are quiet, the pistes are in perfect condition, and the weather is settled.
